Description:This position is for our LM MST Global Mobile Training
Team (GMTT). This position is a rotational position with the
current simulator technicians out of MCAS Yuma. Position will
travel CONUS and OCONUS for up to 89 days to provide site standup
training for all of the enterprise F-35 training locations as a
F-35 simulator technician and Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Training System Simulator Technician (Field Engineer Sr) for the
F-35 supporting the FMF at MCAS Yuma, Az.
Support the sustainment, maintenance, and operation of F-35
training devices. Install components and assemblies into chassis,
racks, cabinets, workstations, and customer facilities. Perform,
conduct, and document preventive maintenance checks required for
the devices and associated subsystems.
Update maintenance data collection records and assist with the
installation and check-out of modifications to equipment.
Maintain simulation devices to meet availability requirements.
Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting
design drawings, manuals or simulator documents.
Assist with installations, testing, and maintenance of F-35
software packages. Isolate and report malfunctions and
discrepancies to the lowest definable levels.

and other members of the Lockheed Martin training team on site to
fulfill USMC training objectives.
Comply with site security and access control procedures in
accordance with F-35 program and customer procedures.

etc.) to the LRU in accordance with established F-35 and customer

Program (SAP) access.
- 3-5 years experience maintaining and troubleshooting Training
and Simulation equipment.
- Ability to read and use technical schematics, drawings and
manuals along with other technical materials to resolve complex
- Strong oral/written communication skills.
- Candidate must be willing to support flexible work hours to
align with customer operational schedule.
- Candidate must have a current Security+ certificate or able to
acquire a Security + certification within 6 months of hire
- Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS for 30 89 days.
- Bachelors degree
- 2 years experience with aviation simulation systems.
- Proven hardware and software support experience in a training /
modeling and simulation environment.
- Network troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
