This position requires extreme leadership and management skills to build a team of professionals. Long hours and difficulty are rewarded with accomplishing something few can do. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interview, hire, train and retain a team of professionals
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Set and manage priorities for contractors and teammates
• Manage multiple projects concurrently
• Deliver exceptional results to internal customer (construction team) and external stakeholders
• Report status on all phases of assigned projects to stakeholders
• Identify, coordinate, and build relationships with city, state and federal entities as required
• Ensure quality is maintained
• Influence and implement new contracts with other utilities and entities as required
• Estimate and control costs in accordance with ALLO's financial guidelines
• Simplify difficult goals and projects into easier to understand short term goals
• Ensure architectural standards are followed
• Support ALLO's geographic expansion plans by leading an in-house FTTP design and engineering practice in the region and other states as required.
• Lead a team OSP design experts focused on supporting ALLO's geographic expansion.
• Set work schedules and managing team resources to hit project delivery expectations.
• Team is responsible for maintaining geographically accurate records of ALLO's OSP plant assets.
• Take initiative and action as a senior ALLO leader.
• Other duties as assigned.
  EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) Certification.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
    SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
    • Knowledge of fiber optic design and construction.
    • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Teams and GIS.
    • Effective communication with internal and external customers, contractors, and internal associates.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Prioritize work for internal and external teams.
    • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Mentor and grow teammates.
    • Track and report metrics.
    • Build effective relationships with internal and external customers.

      REQUIREMENTS:
      • Ability to communicate information.
      • Ability to operate a computer.
      • Possess / maintain a valid driver's license.
