  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel RN - Labor and Delivery--Shift: Days / 6:45a-7:15p, 12x3, 36 hrs per weekLength: 13 weeksWeekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule. Noc: Fri/Sat. Day: Sat/Sun.Holiday Requirements: Typically 2/3 holidays, includes eve/day of. Will be On-Call-as much as you like, not--mandatory. Please note in interview notes traveler agrees to holiday requirements (will be assigned 2 out of 3----holidays within contract, holidays are considered the eve/day of).Is there a call or standby requirement: Low Census On Call.--Requirements:--
  • AZ or Compact License
  • 2 years experience
  • Must be able to do a vaginal exam (if come from teaching facility-they have less skill since--medical--students/residents do these). Scalp electrodes, Circulate a C-section, Newborn transitions, Assist--anesthesiology,--IV starts, Blood draws, APGARS assignments-must know, Postpartum hemorrhage control- SIM lab coming-fall--2023, Epidurals, Amnio infusion. Water birth-not a must have, just for knowledge

  • Experience with--spinning babies preferredOther Details:
    • Radius Rule: 100 miles
    • Floating Requirements: NICU/Peds/Womens as well as MedSurg or ICU with appropriate patient assignment---downgraded, or RDU
    • Charting System:--EPICsystem# of L&D Beds: 9Common diagnoses/Types of patients: 28 weeks and above, lot of HTN, 7-10% no prenatal care, high Spanish--speaking, tele monitoring. Spanish speaking would be great.--Epic Travel Staffing:--
