- Shifts & Scheduling: 6:45-7:15am/pm
- Experience: Must be able to do a vaginal exam, Scalp
electrodes, Circulate a C-section, Newborn transitions, Assist
anesthesiology, IV starts, Blood draws, APGARS assignments,
Postpartum hemorrhage control, Epidurals, Amnio infusion. Water
birth knowledge preferred
- Job Requirements
- EPIC experience required
- Resume must include: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size,
trauma level
- Certifications must be accurate and up to date
- License- Active and in hand - AZ or Compact
- Required to titrate drips: Magnesium, Pitocin, insulin, blood
- Schedule Information
- Shifts & Scheduling: 6:45-7:15am/pm
- Weekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week
schedule
- Holiday Requirements: Typically 2/3 holidays, includes eve/day
of
- Call or Standby Requirement: Low Census On Call
- Unit Specific Information
- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios: Try to follow 1:1
or 1:2, 2 patients is pretty common
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: 28 weeks and above, lot of
HTN, 7-10% no prenatal care, high Spanish speaking
- Charge Nurse on each shift: Yes, free charge
- Nurse aids/Surgical techs on this unit: OB Techs
- OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7: Yes
- RT Equipment: BVM-neonates; T-Piece resuscitator
- Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: Tele on unit
- EFM System: CPN centricity
- Floating Requirements: NICU/Peds/Womens as well as MedSurg or
ICU with appropriate patient assignment
- Scrubs Color: Provided hospital scrubs
- Orientation: One NEO, one clinical ed/EPIC, one day floor
- Additional Details
- AWHONN Notes, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP
- Submission Profile Requirements: Must be in the profile or
cannot move forward with submittal
- EMR listed on each work assignment
- Time Off- Ensure dates make sense for the required start date
and are 5 days or less
- Explain any employment gaps upon submission
