  • Shifts & Scheduling: 6:45-7:15am/pm
  • Experience: Must be able to do a vaginal exam, Scalp electrodes, Circulate a C-section, Newborn transitions, Assist anesthesiology, IV starts, Blood draws, APGARS assignments, Postpartum hemorrhage control, Epidurals, Amnio infusion. Water birth knowledge preferred

    • Certifications must be accurate and up to date
    • License- Active and in hand - AZ or Compact
    • Required to titrate drips: Magnesium, Pitocin, insulin, blood
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling: 6:45-7:15am/pm
      • Weekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule
      • Holiday Requirements: Typically 2/3 holidays, includes eve/day of
      • Call or Standby Requirement: Low Census On Call
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios: Try to follow 1:1 or 1:2, 2 patients is pretty common
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: 28 weeks and above, lot of HTN, 7-10% no prenatal care, high Spanish speaking
        • Charge Nurse on each shift: Yes, free charge
        • Nurse aids/Surgical techs on this unit: OB Techs
        • OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7: Yes
        • RT Equipment: BVM-neonates; T-Piece resuscitator
        • Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: Tele on unit
        • EFM System: CPN centricity
        • Floating Requirements: NICU/Peds/Womens as well as MedSurg or ICU with appropriate patient assignment
        • Scrubs Color: Provided hospital scrubs
        • Orientation: One NEO, one clinical ed/EPIC, one day floor
          • Additional Details
          • AWHONN Notes, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP
          • Submission Profile Requirements: Must be in the profile or cannot move forward with submittal
          • EMR listed on each work assignment
          • Time Off- Ensure dates make sense for the required start date and are 5 days or less
