• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC-preferred.
  • Job Details
  • Hospital in Southern Arizona is looking for RNs to complete a 13 week assignment on their ER Unit.
  • The right candidates will have 2 years of experience in ER and have an active ACLS, BLS, PALS and NIHSS.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have at least two years ER experience with trauma Level I and II accumulative experience in the past three years.
    • If only level III, or lower, cannot accept CLN.
    • Gun shot wound/stabbing experienced.
    • EPIC experience required.
    • Ensure resume information is accurate and includes detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, and trauma level for each hospital.
    • Explain any employment gaps upon submission.
    • Make sure certifications are accurate and up to date.
    • Active and in hand - AZ or Compact License required.
      • Schedule Information
      • Varied shift start times: 7, 10, 11, 12, 1, 3.
      • Modified self-scheduling.
      • 4 weekends shifts per 4 week block.
      • Typically 2 of the 5 holidays (count the eves).
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Ratios: 1:5 medical, 1:6 for fast track.
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Any and all emergency needs.
        • ED Physician &/or Mid-Levels staffed with varied shifts.
        • Charge-free, the House Supervisor can assist if needed.
        • ED techs with 2 years or more experience.
        • PCA with less than 2 years experience - same duties.
        • RT is assigned - ABGs, neb tx, vent, CPAP.
          • Additional Details
          • No 48 hour guarantee and No Block Scheduling.
