Department: PCU Cardiac – A2 Category: Healthcare – Nursing (RN)
Shift: 12-Hour Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) Radius Rule: Must live
outside 100 miles of the facility Start Date: Not flexible –

Highlights: Unit Type: PCU Cardiac / Intermediate Care Number of
Beds: 36 Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: Day Shift: 1:4 Night Shift: 1:5
May have mixed Med-Surg/PCU patient assignments Required Experience
& Skills: No first-time travelers Recent PCU/Stepdown/Telemetry
experience required Must have experience titrating the following IV
drips : Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Heparin, Nitro
(start), Insulin Preferred: Experience with TAVR and CABG recovery
Must be able to read telemetry strips Float Requirement: May float
to ICU (within scope) and Med-Surg units Common Diagnoses: CHF,
NSTEMI, MI, Heart Block, Pacemaker, TAVR, CABG Day 2, post-cath
recovery, Watchman, Bradycardia, VT, Respiratory Failure, Sepsis,
Post-Surgical, and other PCU overflow patients. Certifications
Required: BLS (AHA) ACLS (AHA) NIHSS Required Experience & Skills:
No first-time travelers Recent PCU/Stepdown/Telemetry experience
required Must have experience titrating the following IV
