Arizona Nursing Job Details Location: Yuma, AZ 85364 (Arizona nursing jobs) Division: Travel Nursing – Labor & Delivery Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Labor & Delivery Unit, Trauma Level II Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026) Nursing Shift: 12 Hour Days (6:45am – 7:15pm) Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310 - $2470 per week Weekend/Holiday Requirements: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; 2 out of 3 holidays (eve/day of) Charting System: EPIC EMR Scrubs: Provided by hospital Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Registered Nurse) Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery experience in a Level I/II Trauma hospital (within last 3 years) Proficiency with Epic EMR (recent use required) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification Ability to perform vaginal exams, circulate C-sections, assist with newborn transitions, and manage postpartum hemorrhage Spanish language skills preferred for Arizona healthcare jobs L&D Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care to laboring patients (28 weeks gestation and above) Monitor and assess mothers and newborns, including tele monitoring and APGAR assignments Titrate drips (Magnesium, Pitocin, insulin, blood) as required Assist with C-sections, epidurals, amnio infusions, and newborn transitions Collaborate with OB Techs, charge nurses, and in-house OB/Neonatologists Float to NICU, Pediatrics, Women's Health, MedSurg, or ICU as needed Care for antepartum patients and provide two hours of care for newborns post-delivery Participate in SIM lab training for postpartum hemorrhage control Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC system Experience the warmth and opportunity of Yuma, Arizona, while advancing your nursing career in a dynamic Labor & Delivery environment.
