Yuma is renowned for its sunny weather, supportive healthcare environment, and proximity to stunning desert landscapes—making it a prime destination for travel nursing jobs./n /n/nMed/Surg Tele RN Job Details/n /n - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1990–$2130 per week/n - Location: Yuma, Arizona (85364) – Arizona nursing jobs/n - Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)/n - Unit: 2 West – Med Surg/Tele/n - Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)/n - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026)/n - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/n - Holiday Requirement: Typically 2 out of 3 holidays/n - Charting System: Epic EMR/n - Scrub Color: Navy Blue/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – required for all travel nursing jobs/n - BLS certification required; ACLS preferred/n - Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in Med/Surg Tele specialty/n - Recent experience in a Trauma Level I or II hospital setting/n - Proficiency with Epic EMR system/n - Ability to comply with 100-mile radius rule/n - Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO)/n /n/nMed/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities/n /n - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations, including those with pneumonia, COPD, acute kidney injury, and post-surgical needs/n - Manage nurse-patient ratios of 1:6 during night shifts/n - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses, PCAs, and monitor techs/n - Utilize and monitor respiratory therapy equipment such as Bipap and stable trach/n - Float as needed to MedSurg, stable low acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills clinic RDU/n - Participate in orientation and ongoing nursing education sessions/n - Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using Epic EMR/n /n/n /n Experience the warmth of Yuma’s healthcare community and sunshine while advancing your travel nursing career in Arizona.
