River. Travel Nurse Job Details - Location: Yuma, AZ 85364 (Arizona
nursing jobs) - Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Med/Surg Tele (2
West) - Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 –
End: April 6, 2026) - Shift: 12-hour days (6:45am – 7:15pm) - Hours
per Week: 36 guaranteed - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Typically 2 out of 3 holidays - Scrub Color:
Navy Blue - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130 Registered Nurse
Qualifications - Active RN license (Registered Nurse) - BLS
certification required; ACLS preferred - Minimum 2 years of RN
experience, including at least 1 year in Med/Surg Tele specialty -
Recent experience in a Trauma Level I or II hospital - Proficiency
with Epic EMR system - Ability to float to MedSurg, stable low
acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills clinic RDU as needed Med/Surg Tele
RN Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care for
medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including pneumonia, COPD,
acute kidney injury, and post-surgical cases - Maintain
nurse-patient ratios of 1:5-6 during days and 1:6 at night -
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including
charge nurses, PCAs, and monitor techs - Utilize respiratory
therapy equipment such as Bipap and care for stable trach patients
- Accurately document care and assessments using Epic EMR -
Participate in unit orientation and ongoing nursing education -
Follow unit policies, including low census on-call and floating
