Key Job Details – ER RN Travel Assignment - Assignment Type: Travel Nursing - Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Emergency Room (Level III trauma, functions as Level I) - Location: Yuma, Arizona (85364) - Start Date: October 20, 2025 - End Date: January 19, 2026 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Nursing Shift: 12-hour evenings (1pm – 1am) - Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed - Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block - Holiday Requirement: 2 of 5 holidays (including eves) - Charting System: EPIC EMR - Scrub Color: Navy Blue - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130 Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Arizona or compact state - Minimum 2 years recent ER experience in a Level I or II trauma center (within past 3 years) - Proficiency with EPIC EMR (recent use required) - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (TNCC preferred) - Ability to read own telemetry - Flexibility to float to Foothills freestanding ER (15-minute drive, scheduled in advance) - Maximum 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during assignment Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities - Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population (average 200 patients/day) - Manage patient ratios: 1:5 (medical) and 1:6 (fast track) - Respond to trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases; coordinate transfers for advanced interventions - Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, ED techs, and healthcare team members - Perform EKGs, blood draws, IV starts, and administer ICU drips for hold patients - Utilize dedicated CT and X-ray resources within the ER; accompany critical patients as needed - Participate in modified self-scheduling and shared scheduling with Foothills ER - Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC Apply now to join our healthcare team in Yuma, Arizona and take the next step in your emergency nursing career!
