About The Position Barton is seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona. This opportunity begins on Nov 24, 2025, and offers a Monday to Friday schedule with 8-hour day shifts (8a - 5p). The physician will provide care in an IHS outpatient clinic, managing a diverse range of walk-in cases due to the remote location. There is also a chance for an extension with this opportunity. Job Details - Location: Arizona - Facility Type: IHS Outpatient Clinic - Start Date: Nov 24, 2025 - LOA: 120 days - Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician - Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm Responsibilities and Duties - Deliver comprehensive outpatient care in an IHS clinic setting - Manage acute and chronic medical conditions for walk-in patients - Conduct patient evaluations, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans - Respond to a broad spectrum of cases, given the distance from the nearest emergency department - Maintain accurate and timely documentation using RPMS EMR Additional Information - Active state medical license required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA registration required - IHS experience preferred but not required Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
