Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job ID: T4H - 914 Job Summary: Provide emergency nursing care in a Level 3 Trauma ER (operating like Level I/II) treating a wide range of medical emergencies, STEMI, stroke, and trauma patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and adhering to trauma protocols. Responsibilities: - Triage, assessment, and stabilization of emergency patients - Administer and monitor ICU drips as necessary - Collaborate with ED physicians, mid-levels, and pediatric staff - Coordinate care with ED techs, PCA staff, RTs, and transport teams - Support patient care for diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT) when required - Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and ER protocols Experience / Skills Required: - Must read own telemetry; monitor tech available - Floating: Shared schedule with Foothills ER; infrequent last-minute floating; 15-minute drive to Foothills ER - RN must handle common drips for hold patients; ICU assistance available if needed Certifications Required: - BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS - TNCC preferred Shifts & Scheduling: - Varied shift start times: 7, 10, 11, 12, 1, 3 (modified self-scheduling) - Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block - Holiday Requirement: Typically 2 of 5 major holidays (counting eves) - Scrub Color: Navy Blue About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
