Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Yuma, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,398 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Evenings Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: - Two years of ER experience in trauma Level I/II within the past three years. - Epic EMR proficiency required and recently used. - No more than five days of requested time off. Description: Start dates are not flexible. 100-mile radius rule applies. No 48-hour guarantees. No blocked scheduling requests. Ratios are 1:5 for medical and 1:6 for fast track. The trauma designation is Level 3 with operations similar to a Level 1 facility. Patients are treated in an emergency setting for any and all needs. On average, 200 patients are treated in the ER daily. There are 52 beds and four trauma bays. ED techs are available with two years or more experience for EKG, vitals, blood draws, and splints. ICU gtts are used for holding patients, with ICU assistance available when needed. Dedicated CT and X-ray services are available in the ER. The RN will accompany critical patients if transport is necessary. Tele_monitoring is done by RNs; a monitor tech is also present. Phlebotomy services are not available; ED techs or RNs draw labs from IV starts. Floating requirements involve a shared schedule, which is typically arranged in advance. Weekend requirements include four weekend shifts per four-week block. Holiday requirements typically include two of the five holidays. Scrub color is navy blue. A clinical orientation includes one new employee orientation session, one day for clinical/EPIC training, and one day on the floor. A charge nurse is not assigned to each shift; a house supervisor is available for assistance if needed. Security is in-house 24/7. No separate triage area exists; quick look areas utilize the ESI system. No seclusion rooms are available for psychiatric cases.
