Brief Summary of qualities/experience: RN-BSN preferred - Regional experience (SNF) - RAC-CT certified - Knowledgeable of Medicare, Managed Care, Medicaid and other payment models - Organized and able to multitask - Work collaboratively at multiple organizational levels - Able to Travel - Computer skills: excellent computer skills and experienced working with documentation software, word, outlook, excel and power point Job Requirements: We are looking for a dynamic individual to oversee multiple SNFs in a divisional position of Divisional Reimbursement/MDS Specialist. The position requires licensed Registered Nurse (BSN preferred) with at least three years of regional experienced preferred and five years of MDS experience in the post-acute or long term care setting. RAC-CT certification. Maintains knowledge of Managed Care, Medicare and State Medicaid regulations along with other payment models. The ability to work collaboratively and effectively at multiple organizational levels. The Divisional Reimbursement MDS Specialist provides guidance and oversight to MDS/Medicare coordinators related to MDS and subsequent reimbursement processes for accuracy in assessment completion and validation of reimbursement through PPS, case mix and other payors. Highly organized and ability to multitask with ability to troubleshoot problems/questions from multiple facilities. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to interact with facility and regional staff appropriately. Must have excellent computer skills and experienced working with documentation software, word, outlook, excel and power point. The position does require the ability to travel . The ideal candidate will live in AZ, CO or TX.
