The Ambulatory Clinical Documentation Analyst will be responsible for building all documentation pathways in the ambulatory setting. Should be knowledgeable about policies, procedures, and business operations in an ambulatory/outpatient healthcare setting. Participates in regular day-to-day communication with other project teams and works with Epic and community based Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the documentation build will fit the organization's and community integration needs. Will participate in the development of workflows, data collection and analysis, reporting, and other technical issues associated with the use of the inpatient software. Will participate in developing and documenting the standard build procedures that will be used in conjunction with other Epic applications. Posting Department Ambulatory Informatics Posting Department Description The Information Technology Division at Yuma Regional Medical Center provides vision, planning and guidance for implementing and maintaining technology. The technologies include large integrated systems like the Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR), Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Business Systems. Other technologies include Biomedical systems, Communication and Infrastructure systems, Telemedicine systems along with Desktop and Help Desk systems to name a few. The Information Technology Divisions focus is patient-centric; by providing a stable electronic environment for our patients and staff we deliver the tools necessary to care for patients in the 21st Century. Area of Interest IT Professional Start Date Open Until Filled Work Week Mon - Fri Daily Hours 8 Bi-Weekly Hours 80 External Education Associates Degree or equivalent higher education (60+ completed college credits) in related field. Education Preferred: Bachelor Degree in related field. External Experience --- 2+ years healthcare setting experience or 2+ years technical setting experience or hold Electronic Health Record certification/credentials --- Computer proficiency (must be able to pass computer proficiency assessment) and demonstrate proficiency in related technical knowledge --- Demonstrate expertise in an outpatient/ambulatory area Experience Preferred: --- Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record or similar electronic record systems. --- EpicCare Ambulatory Clinical Documentation experience --- 5+ years healthcare setting experience --- 3+ years in outpatient/ambulatory setting Proficiency/Certification/Travel Requirement: Must become proficient and/or certified in appropriate module which may include travel to the Epic training facility and successfully pass tests and project assignments within designated time periods according to YRMC and Epic guidelines and standards. Must maintain proficiency and/or certification as required yearly per Epic Standards. Requires Call Yes Job Status SALARY-FT
