The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the direction of all Human Resource programs, policies and practices related specifically to operations of the Human Resources department including the Employee Relations and Talent Management functions. Partners with leadership on talent best practices including: employee relations, leadership training, organizational design, workforce planning, recruitment, and talent development. The Director is responsible for leading the strategic talent management function identifying trends and recommending solutions to improve performance, retention, and the employee experience. With a strong focus on HR partnerships, performance and people development, will lead direction in the development and implementation of policies, processes, and systems to build the infrastructure necessary to support a people centric value-based care system. Works collaboratively with the VPHR to design, develop and implement HR frameworks to achieve strategic business and people results. Accountable for human resource management, financial management, and quality management for department and programs within incumbent's responsibility in support of the mission, vision and strategic objectives of YRMC. Master's degree or higher in human resources, business, hospital administration, or related field (or equivalent certification and experience)
Master's degree in human resources, business, hospital administration, or related field. HRCI certification SPHR or SHRM certification SHRM-SCP External Experience Experience Required:
Two plus years in a director-level Human Resources role within a large complex organization. Five years of hands-on Employee Relations experience, to include frequent internal investigations and disciplinary interventions. Working knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to employment. Familiarity with all core HR functions. Ability to train adult learners in a diverse environment, strong communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to influence and coach at all levels of the organization. Computer proficiency in HR technologies and MS Office.
Ten years of experience leading two or more HR functions, including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, or Total Compensation. Proficiency with HR technologies, e.g., HRIS, ATS, and LMS. Advanced knowledge and proven experience with HR metrics and analytics. Requires Call No Relocation Yes Job Status SALARY-FT
