* To produce accurate estimates for vehicle damage * To produce favorable sales of vehicle collision repairs * To produce minimum metrics for Gross Profit * Promote and attain Alexander standards for superior workmanship. * Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to provide a high-level customer experience Job Profile

* Professional attitude and appearance * Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills * Ability to communicate effectively & politely with customers & employees * Excellent customer service skills * Technically knowledgeable, experienced, or trainable on ALEXANDER product line * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational and documentation skills * Clean DMV record * Previous experienced preferred * Negotiate and communicate with insurance companies Working Relationship

* Report to the Body Shop Manager * Work cooperatively with all departments and personnel Transactions Responsibilities

* Generate accurate and legally proper repair orders * Produce accurate and timely estimate for insurance companies, customers and in order to perform quality complete repairs * Make sure all repair supplements are pre-approved * Generate up sells and additional work on each transaction * Prospect new work from service & sales department * Build positive relationships with adjusters, appraisers and claims supervisors * Manage each job and track progression and profitability * Perform quality checks on all finished vehicles, confirm car is ready for customer pick up and notify customer * Verify payment on all vehicle before they are released from body shop * Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts. * Attend and successfully complete training as required by factory or ALEXANDER Center * Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes. * Follow warranty material disposition procedures. * Will assist store operations by following required Quality Management System’s (Q.M.S.) guidelines, procedures and processes. Logistical Responsibilities

* Be able to account for all ALEXANDER Center-owned office equipment. * Meet all requirements of state and federal law dealing with automobile repair and consumer protection. * Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of counters, displays, and customer contact areas by following good housekeeping procedures. (Pick up any trash as you pass it) Ongoing Responsibilities

Accept additional or different tasks when circumstances change (e.g., emergencies, changes in personnel, work load, rush jobs, new technologies, as per work schedules). * Ability to learn. Learn and apply new information, software and technologies without expending excessive resources or time. Measurements of Effectiveness

* Attend all requested ALEXANDER training classes and shop training meetings. * Meet sales and GP% expectations * Maintain accepted level of personal cleanliness and wear approved attire * Arrive to work on time with a minimum number of absences. * Demonstrate a concern for meeting departmental needs through activities such as following up on needed parts, helping fellow co-workers, and training new employees. * Be attentive to customer needs and responsive to customer inquiries when appropriate. Keep assigned customer vehicles clean. It is not possible to anticipate every situation that may arise in the workplace; changing circumstances will undoubtedly require that these job descriptions change from time to time. These changes do not need to be made in writing.
